Join us for our annual Row4Charity event in aid of Dar tal-Providenza where, apart from exchanging our Christmas greetings and burn some calories, we will be raising money for a good cause very close to our heart: id-Dar tal-Providenza … our “home”. Join us for a row, with friends and family, or join our first ever “Staffeta di Natale” a rowing relay fun-race where participants help each out to get more metres for their group in the shortest time possible.
The programme will include:
- Full 30 or 60 minute endurance rows (starting 3pm);
- 1 minute high-power rowing challenges (staring 4pm)
- The “Staffetta di Natale” at 4.20pm … a 15-minute relay rowing race between three teams (“Team Gaspar”, Team Melchior”, and, “Team Balthasar”, appropriately named after the Three Kings) where participants are chosen at random and race each with the focus being on team spirit and making sure that everyone contributes to a final score.
A light reception will follow.
If you prefer not to row, join us anyway and show your support through cheer and a donation so that we can give something back to id-Dar tal-Providenza, a beautiful home which we are proud to call “our home”.
