The Club

Siggiewi Rowing Club was established in August 2016 with the aim of promoting the sport of rowing in all its forms in the city of Siggiewi (Malta) affiliated (observer status) with Malta Rowing Association (Ghaqda Regatta Nazzjonali u Qdif Iehor). In November 2020, the Club has been formally registered as a Voluntary Organisation (VO/2036).

Our vision for 2020-2021:

“Siġġiewi Rowing Club should become the club of choice for individuals of all ages and abilities who aim to take rowing one step further. The Club will continue to support all those who love rowing, prioritising in a non-exclusive manner on forms of rowing as practised overseas, including sliding-seat rowing, both indoor and on-water. The Club is proud to have among its members a leading Maltese para athlete and intends to become a key player in promoting and further develop para rowing in Malta. Everyone should feel welcome, irrespective whether they wish to row recreationally, or if they wish to train professionally with a vision to broaden their horizon and compete in top national and international events”
